About these terms

"The Satkar" (thesatkar.com and sos.thesatkar.com) is owned and operated by Xnetic Solutions Private Limited (CIN: U74900UP2007PTC034085), having its registered office at 2nd Floor, JP Tower, Plot No. 117, Keshav Nagar, Faizullaganj, Sitapur Road, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226021, India. In these policies "we", "us" and "our" mean Xnetic Solutions Private Limited.

By using our website or placing an order through our Scan & Order service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Our service

The Satkar is a hospitality management platform used to run guest houses and cafes at institutional campuses. At our cafes, customers can scan a QR code, view the menu, place a food and beverage order, and pay online or at the counter.

Menu items, prices and availability are set by the respective cafe and may change without notice. The price shown at checkout is the final price for that order.

Orders

An order is confirmed only after successful payment (online) or after payment is received at the counter (pay at counter). You will receive an order / token number once the order is confirmed.

Please check items, quantities and the total amount before paying. We may refuse or cancel an order if an item is unavailable, if the order details appear incorrect, or if misuse of the service is suspected; in such cases any amount paid will be refunded as per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Payments

Online payments are processed by authorised third-party payment gateways (such as Paytm). We do not store your card, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials.

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Customer responsibilities

You agree to provide correct details (such as name and mobile number) and to use the service only for lawful purposes. Please collect your order using your token number.

Limitation of liability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available and accurate, but we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including network, bank or payment gateway outages. Our liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with the revised date.
